There are so many things we talk ourselves out of because we’re afraid they might not work.

What if I fail?
What if nobody buys?
What if I’m not ready?
What if people don’t support me?
What if I make a mistake?

But sometimes we spend so much time asking “What if it goes wrong?” that we forget to ask:

“What if it actually works?”

Take the risk.

Start the business.
Launch the product.
Post the content.
Apply for the opportunity.
Learn the skill.
Invest in yourself.
Try again.

Will every risk work out exactly the way you imagined? No.

Sometimes you’ll succeed.

Sometimes you’ll discover a better direction.

And sometimes you’ll simply walk away with experience, wisdom and a lesson you couldn’t have learnt by staying comfortable.

But imagine taking that one chance and discovering that it becomes the decision that changes everything.

You don’t always need certainty before you move.

Sometimes you need courage to take the first step and willingness to learn along the way.

Sometimes, in the middle of the long hours, endless preparation, back-to-back orders and tiredness, I have to remind myself:

I once prayed for this.

I prayed for the business.

I prayed for the customers.

I prayed for the orders.

I prayed for growth.

I prayed for opportunities to use what God placed in my hands.

And now, some days, I’m tired because those prayers are being answered. 🥹❤️

That doesn’t mean we should glorify exhaustion or run ourselves into the ground. Rest is important. Systems are important. Learning to work smarter is important.

But sometimes, perspective changes everything.

The order you’re tired of packing today might be the kind of order you once wished would come.

The notification interrupting your day might be the enquiry you once prayed to receive.

The busy season you’re trying to navigate might be evidence that something you planted is beginning to grow.

So yes, rest when you need to.

Improve your systems.

Ask for help when you can.

But in the middle of it all, don’t forget to be grateful.

There was a time when some of the things that feel ordinary to you now existed only as prayers, hopes and dreams.

What a privilege it is to look around and realise:

“God, You actually answered me.” 🥹❤️

May we never become so consumed by the work that we forget to thank God for the opportunity to do it.

And may He continue to give us the wisdom, strength and capacity to steward well everything we’ve prayed for.
