SRG Global Mining Services Geotechnical team are seeking an experienced Level 3 Rope Access Technician.

This role will take on various different campaign projects around Australia, with the candidate also having the opportunity to work at our ongoing operations in Kalgoorlie, WA at the KCGM Superpit.

Last week our Mining Services team came together for our annual Strategy Conference.

As well as our Mining Services leadership team, all of our Operations and Site Managers from our WA, SA, NSW and QLD based projects attended our two-day conference.

This was a great opportunity to celebrate and reflect on our FY23 achievements and set business objectives for FY24.

The Mining Services team in Subiaco, Perth WA came together for morning tea to welcome Simon Morse to SRG Global.

Simon joins the team as our Manager-Explosives Compliance and Blasting.

Simon has had an extensive career in blasting (both mining and civil), explosives management and bulk explosive MPU operation. Simon brings his knowledge to the Mining Services team as we continue to build our service offering around blasting and explosives supply management.

Blasthole drilling is a core business for the SRG Global – Mining Services team.

Our team provides production blasthole drilling across four states – WA, SA, QLD and NSW.

Our modern fleet consists of various top hammer, DTH hammer and rotary drills. This diverse fleet enables us to provide hole diameters from 89mm through to 311mm for our clients which can cover production shots for small benches in gold through to mid-size benches in iron ore or large overburden shots for coal projects.

SRG Global Mining Services has several mid-life platform drills in our fleet available for long term hire.

In Western Australia there is an Epiroc Pit Viper 235 Drill and in Queensland we have 3x Sandvik DR460 drills.

All of these drills are available for inspection by interested parties.
