The Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure builds on existing-rail knowledge, giving learners practical experience in measuring track geometry and preventing, identifying, and correcting track faults.

Today we stand with the rail industry for Rail R U OK? Day.

Rail work is demanding. Shift work, time away from family, high-pressure environments, and isolation are realities many of our people face every day. Rail R U OK? Day exists because our industry recognised that mental health challenges can affect anyone, regardless of role or seniority, and that a simple conversation can make a real difference.

So today we're pausing to do exactly that: check in, listen, and look out for one another.

Our RMC Track Protection Services (TPS) team recently collaborated with colleagues from McDonald Surveys to deliver specialised tunnel dilapidation surveys on the PTA network, combining rail safety expertise with advanced surveying capability to complete the work safely and efficiently.

With tight access windows, complex approvals and live rail environments, projects like this require careful planning and coordination. By working together, the teams managed rail access, delivered the surveys and maintained safe operations across the network.

The collaboration provided the client with a seamless, one stop solution that brought together safety, technical capability and operational experience across the Group.

Great work by the TPS and McDonald Surveys teams, whose professionalism and teamwork earned strong client feedback and helped lay the groundwork for future collaboration.
