Continuing our tradition, Australian Indigenous Group tralian indigenous group is celebrating World Dog Day by showcasing some of the four-legged members of our wider AIG community.

Our team have once again shared photos and stories of their dogs, giving us an opportunity to introduce the personalities behind some of the familiar faces supporting World Dog Day.

Get to know the dogs of AIG:

Loki is an American Staffy x English Staffy and a soft soul who has supported AIG's World Dog Day celebrations for three years. As the original inspiration behind our AIG supporting bone, Loki is back for another year of celebrations.

Freyja is a Rhodesian Ridgeback with the personality of an anti-social cat in a dog's body. When she's outside, her attention is firmly fixed on the frisbee in someone's hand. As Loki's supporting companion, Freyja is also returning for her third World Dog Day with AIG.

Eir is a Rottweiler x Doberman with plenty of energy and very little spatial awareness. While her size and enthusiasm can be intimidating from a distance, Eir is joining Loki and Freyja for her first AIG World Dog Day.

Levi is a 15-week-old American Staffy puppy who is new to his family and enjoying every opportunity to explore his surroundings. This year marks not only his first World Dog Day with AIG, but his first World Dog Day altogether.

This year, Maincrew has also joined our World Dog Day celebrations, supporting our donation drive for the Dogs' Refuge Home while introducing us to one of their own four-legged team members.

Bullet is a five-year-old American Staffy x Golden Retriever and a much-loved member of the Maincrew family. From having his own seat in the car to joining the family for café visits, Bullet certainly knows how to make himself comfortable.

World Dog Day has returned to Australian Indigenous Group, with our team coming together to celebrate their four-legged friends and support the Dogs' Refuge Home WA INC through our donation drive.

The Dogs' Refuge Home WA INC is one of Australia's longest-standing animal welfare organisations, providing care and support for dogs in need and helping them find safe and loving homes.

With the support of Maincrew, we were able to contribute even more to this year's donation drive, providing practical items including food, toys, and blankets for the dogs in their care.

Thank you to Jax and the Maincrew team for getting behind our World Dog Day initiative and helping us extend our community support beyond our own workplace.

Australian Indigenous Group is starting out the week strong as they attend the first of the two day event, Supply Nation Connect 2026.

The opportunity to spend the first day connecting with different indigenous and non-indigenous businesses across Australia, connected with global businesses and hear the words of different keynote speakers is important to the development of business.

Members of the Waalitj Freight & Logistics has stepped out to attend Supply Nation Connect 2026 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As the event progresses, our team has attended different conferences, panel discussions, and workshops which give a voice to the Indigenous businesses within Australia.

We’ll return tomorrow for the exhibition, connecting to stalls and businesses nationwide to support our community in the ways that count.

Congratulations to Johan Naude from Equipped Plant Hire for taking home the major prize from our 2026 NAIDOC Community BBQ, celebrating "50 Years of Deadly."

The countdown is on for the Blades of Oary team as they prepare to take on the World's Toughest Row.

Beginning in San Sebastián de La Gomera in the Canary Islands and finishing more than 3,000 miles away in English Harbour, Antigua & Barbuda, the challenge will test the team's determination, resilience, and teamwork as they row across the Atlantic Ocean.

Recently, members of the Australian Indigenous Group team attended Business News ' Sector Briefing: Rise of the Mid Tier Miners — an opportunity to connect with industry peers, strengthen relationships, and hear from leaders shaping the future of Western Australia's mining sector.

Hosted by Allens, the briefing encouraged meaningful conversations around the opportunities and challenges facing the industry, highlighting the value of collaboration in building a strong and sustainable future.

Joined by members of APEX Plant and Equipment, Orelian Resources, and MainCrew Recruitment, the AIG team valued the opportunity to learn, share insights, and continue building the partnerships that support our people, our projects, and our community.
