This year, and in the years to come, Australian Indigenous Group acknowledges the sacrifice of the ANZACs and takes this time to reflect on their service, courage, and enduring legacy.

We remember those who have served and honour the impact they have made across generations.

Lest we forget.

Community isn’t something we simply believe in at Indigenous Group — it’s something we actively build and support.

On 12 December 2026, the Blades of Oary - Atlantic Ocean Rowing Team will take on the challenge of paddling more than 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, raising funds for Ruah Community Services and the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.

We’re proud to stand alongside the team as a silver sponsor — supporting a group of determined, home-grown women as they take on this journey and create meaningful impact for communities across Australia.

At Australian Indigenous Group & Australian Indigenous Enterprises, we believe in developing our people and our community — supporting long-term careers through structured traineeship pathways.

Our program provides practical skills and experience for those who may be new to FIFO work, including:
• Site operations
• Radio protocols
• Working with equipment in real-world environments
• Building confidence and capability

Working at their own pace, trainees are supported through their qualifications and beyond — stepping into the workforce when they are confident, capable, and ready.

Community and culture - the roots of Australian Indigenous Group are strong and present throughout the different projects members of the AIG take on.

As a team and as a company, we at AIG are excited to announce our sponsorship of the Blades of Oary rowing team. An all women team dedicated to completing the “World’s Toughest Row” to raise money for charity.

Supporting both RUAH community services and The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, the women will row not only for charity but change and action.

Join us in supporting the girls in any way you can, whether it is sharing a post or donating to the team:

Today, we are proud to share our support of the ESM Resources Colouring Competition, delivered in partnership with Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia and Landcros. Initiatives such as this create opportunities for young people to engage, create, and connect — and we look forward to seeing the creativity that emerges from children aged 3 to 12.

With each year, the team at Australian Indigenous Group continues to grow - building a workforce of skilled and qualified people who deliver high-quality solutions across Western Australia.

Join us as we reflect on the milestones that shaped our year, both as a team and as a community:

🧡 AIG expanded its Perth operations into West Perth, creating a new base for our operations and corporate teams.

🧡 Our sites welcomed the Hyundai HX400L excavator in partnership with Apex Plant And Equipment & Porter Group.

🧡 We celebrated our first year sponsoring the Swan Valley Football Club, reinforcing our commitment to the local community as we were featured on the NAIDOC jersey.

🧡 Members of our team attended the AEMEE conference in Darwin - sharing knowledge, strengthening networks, and supporting Indigenous Business across Australia.

🧡 The Pilbara Dingoes Social Club was introduced in February, connecting our people and others in mining through community-focused activities and wellbeing initiatives.

🧡Our Lifeblood team continues to grow - giving back to the wider community and helping save lives.

🧡 Project Superintendent Matt Tierney marked five years with AIG - a milestone recognised and celebrated by our team.

🧡 NAIDOC celebrations reached our largest turnout to date, with Banjima Elder, Slim Parker sharing stories of culture, history and Country.

🧡 AIG partnered with Impact Digi to strengthen our digital capability and support our in-house creative department.

🧡 Team members represented AIG at a range of external events - from AFL and the Bledisloe Cup to the AC/DC Power Up World Tour.

🧡 We closed out the year together at our "Yo Ho Ho and a Barrel of Fun" Christmas celebration at Pirate Life in Perth.

This year, members of the Australian Indigenous Group team are joined by Orelian Resources in attending the AEMEE Conference 2025 — Beyond Boundaries: Partnerships. Power. Prosperity.

Over the next two days, AIG will hear from industry leaders, Traditional Owners, and entrepreneurs — developing their knowledge of Country, strengthening relationships, and building long-standing networks that continue to expand Indigenous impact and influence across sectors.

DID YOU KNOW… the AEMEE Conference continues a proud legacy — for over two decades, it has bridged connections between Indigenous businesses, Traditional Owner groups, and the resource and energy sectors.
