You’ve probably heard this saying before:
“Shoot for the stars and you’ll land on the moon.”
Nice thought… but in business?
That’s not how it works.
When you miss in business, you don’t land somewhere safe.
-You lose time.
-You burn money.
-You second-guess yourself.
And sometimes you feel like you’re going backwards instead of forwards.
So what do we do as business owners?
We grip tighter.
We check everything.
We stay involved in every decision.
We don’t delegate because mistakes feel too risky.
We tell ourselves, “It’s just easier if I do it myself.”
Without realising it, we build businesses designed to avoid failure at all costs.
And that’s the exact system that creates burnout.
After the Challenger disaster in the 80s, NASA became so focused on avoiding failure that everything slowed to a crawl.
Brilliant people.
Amazing tech.
But no momentum.
Then SpaceX came along and flipped the script.
They didn’t try to avoid failure — they designed for learning.
Build fast.
Test early.
Let things break.
Fix what matters.
The first rocket failed.
The second failed.
The third failed.
From the outside it looked like chaos.
Inside the system, it was clarity.
Each failure showed them exactly what needed fixing.
Now look at your business.
Your laptop or phone is powerful — but without its operating system, it’s useless.
And yet so many businesses run without one.
No clear processes.
No structure for decision-making.
No automation.
Everything depends on the owner.
So if you step away when you run out of energy… everything stops.
That’s not being the CEO.
That’s being the battery.
This is why I teach Chaos to Clarity.
Not to give you more to do —
but to help you build a business that actually supports you.
ChatGPT isn’t there to answer random questions.
It’s there to help you think, plan, structure, and move forward faster — when you use it at CEO level.
We start that process in Workshop 1.
