Deb built her Squarespace site herself when she was a lampshade maker. FUN. Then she pivoted to teaching workshops. Then a corporate client fell in her lap. The website didn't get the memo.
When I turned up she had three super rad offers, major credibility, companies literally booking her on repeat... and a site that still read like "come do crafts with me hehe." Which, cute, but not the vibe when you're pitching to corporates.
I suggested scrapping the whole multi-page thing and just doing one strong page instead and she replied "shut the front door - a one pager actually makes SO MUCH SENSE" which made me feel very clever and cool so is genuinely one of my favourite client reactions ever.
It's just that when your aim is really to grab attention so that people get in touch, you kind of don't need ten pages. You can get away with one really good one.
We also built out a new whole brand direction to go with it because her logo was cute but needed some friends. Fonts, colours, y'know. AND she had a custom font that she made from her own handwriting which we absolutely used because why would you not.
Anyway. The site now looks both professional but fun af. Just like Deb. Go have a look.
If you want a one page site, I got you. Enquiry form in the usual spot.
