Stuck for a gift idea this Christmas? Skip the shopping centre.

Some of the most thoughtful presents in Perth come from local markets: a hand-thrown mug, a candle poured in small batches, a beautiful print from a WA artist, or a hamper of local pantry goods. Gifts with a story behind them always land better.

Next time you've got a birthday, housewarming or thank-you coming up, think local first. You'll find something they've never seen before, and you'll be supporting a Perth small business while you're at it 🎁

Come and feel the difference for yourself.

Looking for things to do in Perth in December?

Markets are one of the best-kept secrets for a slow, easy weekend. Grab a coffee, wander the stalls, pick up something for the house, and let the kids (and the dog) come along for the ride.

At Gather & Gourmet, you'll find quality homewares, fashion, art, ceramics, accessories, pantry staples and delicious food, all from local small businesses who care about what they make.

Save this post for your next "what should we do this weekend?" moment 📌

Every time you shop at a local market, you're backing a real person. Maybe it's the ceramicist who fires every piece in her backyard studio, or the pantry brand that started at a kitchen table in Fremantle, or the homewares label run by a mum of three between school runs.

That's what Gather & Gourmet is about: bringing Perth's best small businesses together in one place, so shopping local feels easy, and a little bit special.

Applications for Gather & Gourmet Summer are now closed. Here is what happens next. 👇

Every application is carefully reviewed to ensure each stall complements the overall market and that no two stalls are in direct competition with one another. We take our time with this process because getting the balance right is what makes Gather & Gourmet such a great experience for vendors and visitors alike.

Successful applicants will be notified on 25 September. If your application was unsuccessful it may be due to a few common reasons including the use of AI generated images, insufficient product description or a category that has reached capacity such as food trucks and premade desserts.

Not ready to give up? Neither are we. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for this event or future markets, send us an email at [email protected] with your profile link and we will keep you in mind.
