Fresh front end 🔥

We’ve recently wrapped up a 10-yearly major service and inspection on a Volvo L110F for MIE - Mining & Industrial Electrics. Now fitted with a new Quattro MEWP setup and a dual stage basket - ready for underground.

A solid refresh to keep this machine running reliably and ready for its next chapter in the field.

We had a fantastic night on Saturday attending the Goldfields Children's Charity Ball with a table representing HP Mechanical.

It was great to see so many local businesses and community members come together for such an important cause, supporting children and families across the Goldfields.

A big thank you to the organisers for putting together such a wonderful evening. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up so generously.

Fresh MT65 midlife rebuild leaving the building. 🔧

This Epiroc MT65 recently left the HP Mechanical workshop in Kalgoorlie after a midlife rebuild for Emeco Underground.

Quality work again by the team getting this one ready and back to work.

It’s been a big month in the HP workshop! Between client rebuilds, breakdown repairs, and our own hire machines returning (and heading straight back out the door), the place has been buzzing.

The team’s been eating up the work and pushing through with a huge run to the finish line before a well-earned Christmas break. 🎅🏽💪

We’re on the lookout for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Heavy Diesel Fitter Apprentice to join our workshop team in Kalgoorlie 👷‍♂️

At HP Mechanical, we work on a range of underground mining gear - loaders, trucks, drills, and more. You’ll get hands-on experience, solid training, and support from a solid crew of tradespeople.

What we are after:
✔️2nd or 3rd year HD apprentice (Cert III Mobile Plant)
✔️Keen to learn and work safely
✔️Reliable and a good team player
✔️Driver’s licence preferred
