Most people have a vague sense of who they want to become. Fuzzy. Aspirational. Somewhere in the back of their mind.

That's not enough. Vague goals create vague results.

Try this instead. Open a blank document. Write two versions of yourself five years from now.

Version one is who you become if you do the work. Specific. Detailed. What does your morning look like. What do you own. Who's around you. How do you feel.

Version two is who you become if you keep doing what you're doing now. Same habits. Same excuses. Same "I'll start next month." Play that forward five years and write what you see.

Now you have two futures with your name on them.

Read both every morning.

One pulls you forward. The other pushes you from behind. Inspiration and fear. Carrot and stick.

You need both. Aspiration alone fades when things get hard. Fear alone burns you out. Together they keep you honest.

Five years from now, one of those versions becomes real. You're deciding which one right now.

After 20 years of working as a coach 😁 most recently with my darling Andy Cooke at DISCERN -

I'm excited to announce the launch of my new individual based coaching - ICU Coaching. 🙌🥂💚

Why the name 'ICU' you might ask?

It's for 2 reasons -

Because I think one of the greatest gifts I give people is seeing them as they really are.

Wonderful, courageous, loving, full of possibility. Get it? 'ICU' = I see you.

Also, 'ICU' traditionally stands for an Intensive Care Unit and I am both Intensively Caring, and a bit of a Unit 😆 (It feels right, ya know?)

The wonderful coach and human Tammy Tansley PCC ICF said to me at an event last night - (paraphrasing) - 'You must be a wonderful coach, you have a really loving energy.'

So, as I tend to leap then plan, I will be creating webpages and brochures and info and my Insta world and calendly and all that, but for now, if you need an ear that can hear what matters - I'm here for shorter or longer chats and I will be charging based on timing and your means. 💚
