It was really nice to be in Sydney in March and catch up in person with Sunil Purba from The Integrated Executive.
We had a good conversation about orthodontics, the economy, and how quickly things seem to be shifting for families making decisions about treatment.
We also had a laugh about whether practices might need a “grandparent discount” in orthodontics, because in some cases it is the grandparents who are in the best financial position to help fund treatment for the grandkids.
It was a funny comment, but it also reflects something quite real. Family dynamics around treatment decisions and affordability are changing, and practices need to stay aware of that when they are communicating fees, options and value.
Always good to catch up with people in person and talk about what is really happening in the industry.
