The team at Precision deliver another successfully Production Bore!

The job intailed the replacement of a 6inch Production Bore for a valued client in the Swan Valley region of Perth.

The Original Bore was drilled back in the early 70s and the steel casing had corroded.

The original bore pump was removed and the bore casing reamed out and cleaned up back to depth and decommissioned inline with the minimum Bore construction standards.

The team then carried out drilling the new Bore with rotary mud down to the same depth the existing well was replacing like for like, the team drilled to a total of 140m with downhole Gamma carried out prior to this installation of the casing.

This Bore was constructed with a combination of stainless steel screens and class 12 PVC back to surface.

The Team on Rig One have been working tirelessly over the last couple months to wrap up a Major Tailing Storage Facility (TSF) investigation for a valued client on a major Tier one miner nickel and cobalt producer located in the north-eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.

With the crews conducting Diamond Core Drilling and the installation of multiple Vibrating Wire Pizometers (VWP) and inclinometers across the site.

Precision Drilling Australia would like to thank all our employees for there hard work over 2022 and our valued subcontractors and suppliers been able to keep up with Precisions rapid expansion on another busy year,

Precision Drilling Australia recently just finished our safety upgrades and overhaul of our latest addition Rig 4 a “Yanmar Track Mounted Hydrapower Scout Mark V multipurpose Drilling Rig”.

The team have mobilised out to one of our Major Tier One clients adding another rig to the current major drilling campaign we are currently undertaking. With rods spinning and the first well already completed.

Thanks to our team and valuable sub-contractors completing the much needed upgrades in a short time Period to get rods spinning for our valued client.
