I’ve been a little quiet lately, and now I can finally share why.
Over the past few months, I’ve been working behind the scenes on something both exciting and slightly surreal. I’ve officially stepped into a new chapter as the owner of Perspective ND Therapy, a multidisciplinary allied health clinic specialising in neurodiversity here in WA.
For most of my career, I’ve worked alongside nonprofits and purpose-driven organisations, helping them grow, communicate their impact, and build stronger communities. With my own health journey and that of my family, and watching the very real impact of allied health on us all, I found myself drawn to the people doing the real, everyday work of supporting families, young people, and neurodivergent individuals, and wanting to contribute more directly to that impact.
This opportunity felt like a natural extension of the work I already care deeply about: creating environments where people feel supported, understood, and able to thrive.
ND Perspective is an incredible team of beautiful hardworking caring people with therapists across speech, occupational therapy, psychology and behaviour support, and I feel genuinely honoured to continue building on the foundation that already exists. My focus is simple: support great clinicians to do their best work, create sustainable systems behind the scenes, and ensure families experience thoughtful, neuro-affirming care.
Alecia Hancock Consulting isn’t going anywhere. If anything, this new adventure deepens my understanding of the challenges many organisations face every day, and I’m excited about how the two worlds will inform each other.
It’s a big step, and I’m equal parts grateful, humbled, and excited for what comes next.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me quietly along the way.
I’m endlessly grateful to the founder Renae for being such a supportive partner as I find my feet. I’m looking forward to sharing more of the journey as it unfolds.
Getting to walk into this kind of space each day feels pretty special.
