FIFO Australia has become aware of scammers impersonating our business and issuing fraudulent employment offers using our name, branding, logo and website details.
We have now received multiple examples of fake “Formal Offer of Employment” letters claiming to offer people FIFO positions at Australian mine sites.
These documents are NOT from FIFO Australia.
⚠️ PLEASE BE AWARE:
❌ FIFO Australia does NOT employ OVERSEAS CANDIDATES to work at mine sites or issue employment contracts for mining positions to them.
❌ We will NEVER ask you to pay money to secure a job, employment offer, visa, work permit or position with a mining company, (not to be confused with paid consulting and resume services).
❌ [email protected] is NOT our email address and has no association with FIFO Australia.
❌ Email addresses using domains such as .eu are NOT associated with FIFO Australia.
❌ Anyone claiming to be a FIFO Australia “Recruitment Manager” and offering you direct employment should be treated with extreme caution.
Scammers are copying legitimate business names, logos, websites and publicly available information to make their communications and documents appear genuine.

The only other accounts associated with our business/team that you should recognise are:

If another account contacts you claiming to represent FIFO Australia, do not assume it is legitimate simply because it uses our name, logo, photos or branding.

📢 PLEASE HELP US REPORT THESE SCAMMERS
If you have been contacted by someone impersonating FIFO Australia, please send us any evidence you have so we can document the activity and report it to the appropriate cybercrime authorities.
This may include screenshots, emails, email addresses, social media profiles, usernames, phone numbers, WhatsApp messages, fake employment contracts, payment requests, bank/payment details, websites or any other correspondence you have received.

🚨 ALREADY SENT MONEY?
If you have already transferred money to someone claiming to represent FIFO Australia, contact your bank or payment provider immediately. You should also report the incident to the appropriate fraud or cybercrime authority in your country. In Australia, cybercrime can be reported through the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
