Merishia massage is an amazing technique ,and unique to Australia. Every time you're animal works hard or uses new muscles, messes around in the filed or plays ruff with another dog spasms start to arise. A spasm is where the contracted muscle has not fully relaxed leaving part of the muscle tense. Untreated these spasms build , leaving the less elastic tendons to take up the tension. This along w

ith lactic acid and toxin build up can lead to your animal being uncomfortable, unable to preform and even muscle tears! Here are some before and after pictures of Merc!

Merc has been with us for a few months now, having a spell from his racing career.
As you can see in the first image Merc had a very large muscular hole in the right side of his neck, and a lot of nerval pain, particularly around the hole, his pole and base of his neck. This pain was to the point he could hardly stand me touching him, and it was radiating over his whole body. Even causing random involuntary spasms in the stifles and back. I was also informed he pulled considerably in work, struggled to hold his weight, and showed other signs of distress like fence walking and generally being on edge.

We started by getting him cleared by his vet for any serious injuries or breaks, and started him on Nerve medication to help him tolerate me working on him. He responded amazingly to the medication, and I started his massage work straight away.

His response has been truly amazing to see. Not only has the hole almost completely gone, but he is looking fantastic 👌
He is now enjoying his treatments, and any attention he can get. And of course his daily stretches.
He has stopped walking the fence line, and showing his loving calm personality.
Merc has been amazing to work with, and I continue to be blown away by his improvements.
