🧩 Shape Aboriginal workforce development and systems change across Western Australia's family and domestic violence sector.
The Centre for Women's Safety and Wellbeing is seeking an Aboriginal Strategy and Engagement Manager to join the new Family and Domestic Violence Workforce Entity.
This role is responsible for ensuring Aboriginal approaches to workforce development are in line with the FDV System Reform Plan and Closing the Gap priorities, while upholding cultural authority and shared decision-making across the sector.
In this role, you will:
✨ Provide cultural expertise and advice across workforce development, community safety and reform initiatives
✨ Build and maintain relationships with Aboriginal leaders, Elders, ACCOs, peak bodies and government stakeholders
✨ Establish and manage an Aboriginal Advisory Group to guide culturally informed decision-making
✨ Design and implement Aboriginal workforce capability strategies, including leadership pathways and capacity building initiatives
✨ Support FDV services and ACCOs to deliver culturally safe family and domestic violence responses
✨ Represent the organisation in high-level forums related to Aboriginal policy, workforce reform and family and domestic violence
