Townsville Citylibraries, serving nearly 200,000 residents, has been part of Culture Counts' Public Libraries Evaluation Network since 2019—using data to better understand the impact of their spaces, programs, and services.
In 2024, their 'We Love Libraries' campaign gathered over 3,000 responses - their most extensive evaluation to date - providing deeper insights into user and community needs.
Reflecting on the impact, Business Development Officer Caitlin Single shared that this data-driven approach enables the library “to enhance our services and demonstrate the critical role libraries play throughout users’ lives.”
