Yesterday, we had the pleasure of accompanying students and a lecturer from Nanjing Xiaozhuang University as they visited more universities across WA, continuing their immersion in student life here in Perth.
A special thank you to Dr Anna Gadd from The University of Western Australia for delivering an insightful seminar on AI and Translation Studies. The session was highly informative and particularly valuable for the students majoring in English. The group was also deeply impressed by UWA’s breathtaking campus.
Thank you to Murdoch University and WAIFS Perth for organising an engaging class on critical thinking. The two-hour intensive session gave the students and lecturer the immersive experience of what a university class in WA feels like—an excellent opportunity for academic exchange and a meaningful way to showcase WA’s education strengths.
The group was especially impressed by the stunning Boola Katitjin Building on campus. They were amazed by the high-quality teaching and learning spaces available to Murdoch students and the incredible resources accessible to them.
We also extend our thanks to International College for hosting a seminar on the translation and interpreting industry in WA. This offered the group a clearer understanding of how the industry operates internationally and further strengthened their confidence in studying abroad.
The group is continuing to explore WA. Although the trip is short, the journey of learning never truly ends. They have not only gained deeper insights into Western Australia but are excited to share these experiences with their peers back home.
We are proud to support this visit and contribute to promoting WA’s world-class education.
