Alteration that I did on black dresses.
The black sash hung very low and just flapped around, I pleated the sash, all the lower side were 8" wide,, and arranged pleats from this. The pleats were sewn in at the centre front and back to give some structure.

Alterations were done on the wedding gown as well. Taking up shoulder straps, and taking in 1" both sides of dress from under arm all the way to half way down her thigh. Perfect fit.
