Over 650 times a year the mainsail goes up and down on board the Charter Catamaran Aristocat II in Monkey Mia, in Western Australia!

The team at Aristocat 2 Cruises are always busy showing tourists the wonders of the pristine Shark Bay World Heritage area and the Dolphins , Dugongs, Turtles, Sharks and wildlife that frequent the waters. These operators are unique in that the boat is always SAILING!

We were pleased to join the team to retire their old mainsail after 3,900 hoists and lowerings over the last 6 years and fit up their new sail. Being in such a remote area and with their business dependant on minimal down time we over engineer everything to keep them operational and service them with priority. New projects are always satisfying to be a part of - especially when they come together exactly as planned! We worked closely with the team at Rigging WA for all layouts, sheeting angles and sail handling systems to make sure everything was perfect for this beautiful Schionning Wilderness 1340X. We look forward to following their exciting journey north to Indonesia.

A good turn out on a wet winters night to attend a seminar presented by Paul Eldrid. He discussed sail shapes, controls and optimum sail trim and then how this can be applied on the start line. Thank you to Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club for organising this again this year, we look forward to returning soon!

Congratulations OneSails powered boats in winning the Fremantle Sailing Club Valmadre Winter Series in both Division 1 & Division 2 IRC. Anthony Kirke's J/Boats J99 'Enterprise Final Frontier' won Division 1 with Anthony adding "we used our new Code Zero for the first time - it made the difference in the last race which we won...and this gave us the overall win". Matt Rose and the ever popular Spacesailer 27 'King Canute' cleaned up Division 2. Great to see so many OneSails Australasia customers on the water!

Time to chase the sun! Final commissioning and check over on these new sails - IFS structured luff furling Jib Zero & Asymmetric spinnaker on a brisk winter day. Adding these sails to the OneSails 4T FORTE™ Mainsail and Jib completes the inventory for this Fusion Catamarans 40 which departs this week bound for the warm northern dry season in Shark Bay, Broome, & The Kimberley, Western Australia.

Magnificant winters day testing a new IFS furling A3 on the Pogo 12.5 "Surfer Rosa". Owner Roric loves his new sail and we are always amazed by their unique ability to change profile simply by tweaking the luff tension. Continuous UHMPE fibers make up the structured luff component making these cable-less sails so versatile and unbelievably easy to use. Check it out!
