And a new one just begun….

It’s hard enough trying to run a business let alone stay true to a winning formula that will double, triple your business,

So I say ,”business is a numbers game’…
Suddenly his ears pricked up!
A game, a competition… aha!
I like to compete

And so the drudgery of filling in numbers became a new game,
A game where just by paying attention to the score, started highlighting winners and losers, and giving him a focus on what to pay attention to.
Cos if you don’t know the score how can you tell the winners from the losers?
For example….
Low Leads… make calls to referral partners and past clients
Low conversions … follow up follow up follow up, better offers, guarantee….
Stagnant Average dollar sale…. Use the damn check list!
Profit is good….Good is the enemy of great! What are you leaving on the table and what can you do about it.
So watching his average dollar sale increase by 300-500 per sale
And seeing an average of 179 sales per year makes for an increase of around $70,000.
as that is net of costs it all goes to profit..
what could you do with that added to your business this year?
What if you had this amount going into your Superannuation fund every year for 10 years (700,000 and it invested in a high yielding investment…
you could have a great basis for a VERY comfortable retirement)

Bad News...

Since setting this page up we've had multiple businesses (and others) join currently 250+...

A sad fact is that over half of those businesses started are now closed.

As a community we are here to help improve the way we all do business and strengthen out community here in South of Perth.

I'm going through the group and removing businesses who are shut, or not relevant to the community.
If you'd like to stay connected please comment below so I don't remove you.

One of the strategies business owners tend to neglect is 'Increase Average Dollar Sale.'

You probably heard the story where at Maccas they ask you if you want fries with that
(I never get asked that when we drive throught for our 99's after kayaking).

and only 3 in 10 say yes

but if you add that up it's probably worth Billions to them over the years.

I was picking my car up froma service, simple check up job 'fixed price' $420.

When I sat down to give my details the fries questions came thick and fast.
Do you want:
air filters,
fluid changes,
wheel rotation,
alignment,
air filter etc, etc

which added up to about $850 extra for fries...

Incidentally I bought them last service...

So apparently I didn't NEED them but it was worth considering....In their opinion.

N-E-way left me asking what they actually did in the service for $420...

AND there's a point to all of this, which is, most businesses struggle to ask the customer to buy more.

It's sometimes fear of rejection, or feeling like they may be asking too much of the customer or maybe they just don't know how to fit it into the process...

And then there's the huge cost to all of that in what we call money left on the table.

So next time you are 'Professionally helping someone to buy'...
be professional,
and make sure you offer them all the other things they could use as part of their purchase ..

You know the way you'd dip fries into a 99 or similar...

ACTION POINT:
Grab a pen and paper and make a list of all the items or services you could offer to your customers (so they donlt go ele=sewhere to buy them. and grow your business by raising your average dollar sale
AND stop leaving money on the table

AND give your customers what they want, which is 'complete professional help'

Before you go wasting money on lead generation... Business Rule #1 is a must! don't pay for leads that you don't have the process to capture and convert them - it's a big waste of money, and it frustrates the hell out of people when "They You We" experience it...
