Young Skål Perth looks forward to welcoming you to our Skål International Perth annual Young Skal dinner at the Bentley Pines Training Restaurant at South Metropolitan TAFE.

We have two fantastic guest speakers looking forward to sharing their experiences and personal reflections in the industry.

All raffle ticket proceeds will go towards the Young Skal Exchange Program with Cape Town 2024.

Skal is holding a special event in September to help raise funds for our Young Skal Members to do an exchange program with our Twinning Club – Cape Town, South Africa!

Bentley Pines Training Restaurant at South Metropolitan TAFE

The award-winning Bentley Pines Training Restaurant at South Metropolitan TAFE is a live, interactive training environment for our students preparing for work in the hospitality industry.

Hospitality and cookery students serve and prepare food in the restaurant and showcase their skills in planning a menu, budgeting, making purchases, and preparing and serving food and drinks to members of the public. Events students provide menu presentation and advertising when special events or exhibitions are staged at the venue.

Skal has the entire venue booked for this special occasion with special guest speakers from the Tourism and Travel industry, it will be a fantastic evening! Dinner will be cooked and served by the students completing their Commercial Cookery and Hospitality Certificates and Skal had a fabulous night last time we booked this event! Tickets are strictly limited, so please book ASAP to ensure your seat on the night!

Edith Cowan University (ECU) PARTNERSHIP CONTINUES

The Skål International Perth Committee passed at its committee meeting in July to continue its long-standing agreement for sponsoring the SKAL International Perth Clive Nelthorpe Memorial Award for a student graduating with a hospitality and tourism qualification.
The sponsorship will continue from 2023-2025 inclusive.

We would like to thank the School of Business & Law for its continuing efforts to help promote Young Skål Perth and various initiatives run by Skål International fostering succession planning and shaping our students and young professionals.

As we mark ANZAC Day today, let us take a moment to remember the bravery and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought for our freedoms and values. Their service and dedication to their country will never be forgotten. May we continue to honour their memory and strive to uphold the principles of courage, loyalty, and selflessness that they embodied. Lest we forget.
