Why “Padayon”?

The name comes from a Visayan word meaning carry on, continue, keep going.

It reflects how we think about communication at Padayon Communications.

Many of the problems organisations deal with don't have a neat endpoint. Risks evolve. Behaviours change and change again. New challenges emerge.

Effective communication therefore isn't always about delivering one perfect campaign.

It's about listening, adapting, building trust and helping people act — and continuing to do that over time.

Padayon Communications is now live at www.padayoncommunications.com

The practice provides advisory and capacity support in risk communication and community engagement, working with governments, international organisations and development partners across the Asia-Pacific.

The work sits where a technical problem and a communication problem are tangled together. An outbreak that needs one message across several countries. An antimicrobial resistance programme that needs producers to change what they do. A response where trust has been lost and has to be rebuilt before anything else can happen.
