Righto guys and girls we a proud to announce we are assisting a team in the s**t box Rally, the team are looking for sponsorship and or donations to help them on their way to raise money and awareness for cancer. They are using the Morris minor 1000 we showed in some of our very early posts. The boys will be travelling from Alice springs up to the gulf of carpenteria and then onto the Gold Coast. This will be no easy feat for the guys and more so for the poor morry, any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated by the team. Here’s a picture of the lads and the morry.

Righto friends and followers. We are still having fun with the manitou forklift diff. The last of the parts arrived last week and we’ve made a little progress. Also hit our first snag..... we are now in need of some special tooling, or better yet someone with access to and handy with a lathe and milling machine / machine shop who can fabricate a socket to torque up the pinion nut. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Ok peeps, I know it’s been a while between posts but here is the latest toy we have been playing with, a Dana...spicer...Clark...Hurth (look we all know they in bed together) axle assembly out of a manitou m30-2 forklift for a buddy of ours down in Pemberton. We are currently just cleaning up the parts and prepping everything for assembly. Fun stuff I know. Looks like the diff had been shock-loaded and has stripped a few teeth from the crown and pinion. Some parts have been order and supplied for us by manitou, but a lot has been missed and lost by the last two companies who have had a go, so it’s up to us to pick up the pieces and get this component back together for the farm forklift.
