What to do with all of this? Turn it into this!

When there is no more Jarrah logs to burn. We make them.

Businesses with clean wood and even metal waste SHOULD do their best to reduce the amount of landfill they deliver to tips.

At Vintage Timber Traders we are forever researching ways to reduce the amount of waste we throw into council landfill.

Our untreated, unpainted timbers are cut up for firewood. Beams and timbers which would have been milled up to a century ago. Timbers which are perfectly stable but arent aesthetically pleasing so not desired. It literally baffles me.

We are pleased to say that 2 years ago we took the initiative to turn even more of our waste into fuel for heating. Our mountains of sawdust. The final biproduct of our mill will now be compressed into Jarrah logs and sold as firewood. Pretty cool stuff.. stay tuned for more.

I didnt get the decking in there but thats there too..

WHO EVEN ARE WE ANYMORE 😲

Good evening loyal Clients and Admirers. You will see in the coming days/ weeks, some changes to our Company Image. The first big change being our NAME!

We would like to (RE) introduce you to Vintage Timber Traders Vintage Timber Traders.

Matthew Erceg Matt Betta started Betta Recycle It over 10 years ago after finding a market for the otherwise demolished and discarded timber of Perth. With a background in carpentry and solid timber floor laying, Matt purchased a premises to start working out of which led to a new business venture "The Mill."

From supplying and installing only recycled boards to (as well) now machining our very own boards, decking, lining, made to order skirting and custom timber sizes, we are proud to become bigger and better than ever and with that, comes a new, bigger and better name and professional image.

Our friendly faces, and Matt's signature orange fluro and banter, although, will never change. Hope you and enjoy ✌️💚Jenna

Please bare with us as we tackle Covid 19. It has affected Matt quite severely and at this stage, we arent sure when milling will be done and deliveries of firewood will be made.

If you would like to remain on our delivery list for firewood, please let us know, if you can't hold on this time, we completely understand...it's bloody cold!

Still love them

In the middle of laying 60mm boards to the bedrooms of our reno. Bigger isn't always best. Narrower boards are a great way to get a solid floor on a budget. They're cheap as chips and what's even better is that they're gonna look amazing!

These are recycled out of an old home in Dalkeith. Can't wait till they're all done.. stay tuned for pics.
