Loneliness is a pressing public health issue not just affecting older people.. an increasing number of people aged 15-24 are reporting loneliness

Back at Brownes Dairy today! 🐄🥛🐄

I spoke about mental load, busy persons syndrome, chronic stress, and the effects on mental health, and of course overall health.

I was reminded I take being a pharmacist for granted. It’s great to be able to provide holistic advice, focused on wvalues and lifestyle, however also cover first line treatment protocols, and medication options when discussing mental health.

The 6 part ‘lunch n learn’ series covering a number of wellbeing topics is such a great initiative from CEO &MD, Natalie Sarich-Dayton and it has been great to work with Jade Pop and the team in HR.

I’m not a digital expert… I focus on values based living and living with intent. 🧡

I focus on developing soft skills … given research shows we have a soft skill gap in our Gen Z. This is a focus of my work in my business and my teaching at Curtin University. 🧡

Super proud to be heading to Adelaide this month as a parent and Athletics West supporter 💛🖤💛

Where my teenage daughter, Baia takes her running doesn’t matter big picture - what matters are the life lessons and soft skills she develops along the way and the person she becomes because she takes positive risks, sets goals and works hard towards a dream she has! 👏👏

Shout out to the City of Bayswater for the health and wellbeing program they run for their community. I’ve been honoured to be a part of this phenomenal program for the last 2 years. 🩵

Makiko and Megumi have been engaging with the program consistently since Megumi was 4 months old! The social connection and engagement in community equally important as the actual activity. Makiko shares her Japanese culture with me and Megumi charms us and melts our hearts with her cheeky smile!

So much to be said about local councils and their great work! 👏👏

Kicking off IWD day celebrations tonight with the City of Bayswater.

Starting with outdoor yoga at Bert Wright Park in Bayswater this evening, and tomorrow night a conversation about Busy Women’s Sydrome and the Mental Load of females juggling households, children and careers.

Tonight I’ll need my microphone with over 100 registered 🤣 and tomorrow night looking like a great turnout too! 👌
