We have a proud history of getting up, standing up, and showing up.

From the frontier wars and our earliest resistance fighters to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities fighting for change today—we continue to show up.

Now is our time. We cannot afford to lose momentum for change.

We all must continue to Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! for systemic change and keep rallying around our mob, our Elders, our communities.

It must be a genuine commitment by all of us to and support and secure institutional, structural, collaborative, and cooperative reforms.

It’s also time to celebrate the many who have driven and led change in our communities over generations—they have been the heroes and champions of change, of equal rights and even basic human rights.

Getting Up, Standing Up, and Showing Up can take many forms.

We need to move beyond just acknowledgement, good intentions, empty words and promises, and hollow commitments.

Specialising in Aboriginal business growth and development, Indigenous Management Group have now joined the Australian Biome.

CEO Judd Harris and his team will work together with the Australian Biome with the aim to achieve greater employment outcomes and business development projects for Aboriginal communities.

In 2019, Indigenous Management Group were awarded the Registered Supplier of the Year by Supply Nation which was sponsored by BP.

Over the past few months, we have seen some amazing people doing amazing things for their community. One of those people is IMG client Kerry O'Brien, owner of KARIA.

Kerry supplies essential, low-cost furniture to families living in regional communities who have far less than they ought to.

IMG Co-founders Judd Harris and Matthew Stevens had the pleasure of donating the hire of a truck and a Saturday morning to get out of the office and help Kerry fill up her first load northbound to Mt. Magnet.

This delivery has provided four family homes with beds, tables, chairs, couches, toys and books. What every home deserves.

WELL DONE 👏👏

Downer EDI Mining for the four separate 5 year long contracts issued to Yilka Talintji Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC members worth over $15million.

With all four businesses now fully operational we can look back on the determination, collaboration and drive from everyone involved.

There have been that go well beyond the financial aspect of a contract. Seeing people with little to no business experience not only rise to the challenge but flourish and succeed, has been inspiring.

So again, well done to Downer EDI Mining for the opportunities and support you have provided to the community and for allowing IMG to lead the engagement and development of these new businesses and emerging business leaders.
