Bucket fabrication and modification works going through our workshop

We are currently completing a range of bucket upgrades and modifications for contractors to better suit tiltrotator work and local site conditions.

Works include converting UK-style Miller buckets by changing the hitch to suit tiltrotator setups, double-skin flat-bottom buckets with Hardox plating and fitting new cutting edges, and improving cut-corner (tiltrotator) bucket designs for better durability and performance on site.
GP and trench buckets are also being modified by replacing factory teeth with straight cutting edges, creating a flat working surface better suited to trimming and general site works.

With strong demand for bucket upgrades built around real operator experience, Catterson Contracts continues to provide practical fabrication solutions designed to perform and last on site.

One for the tilt rotator men..

Batter bucket professionally upgraded to improve durability and long-term performance.

The bucket has been double-skinned with Hardox steel and rebuilt to the standard we believe these attachments should meet from factory, delivering a stronger, longer-lasting working surface suited to demanding site conditions. The cutting edge height has also been adjusted to create a perfectly flat-bottom bucket, allowing operators to achieve a cleaner and more accurate finished surface on site.

Having spent many years operating machinery ourselves, we understand exactly what contractors require from their buckets in day-to-day work. In Perth’s abrasive conditions, standard mild steel factory buckets often wear prematurely, so our modifications are designed to provide a more durable, practical solution that stands up to real on-site demands.

Our focus is on delivering modifications that perform on site and provide reliable, long-term service to the highest professional standard.

We are currently working towards developing our own range of buckets in the near future, combining our on-site experience and practical design improvements to deliver attachments we believe will set a new benchmark for performance and durability in the market.

YARD MANAGER / PAINTER / SANDBLASTER (FULL-TIME) WANTED

✅️ 10% Monthly Profit-Share Bonus – Strong Earning Potential ✅️

We’re offering a 10% monthly profit-share bonus from all blasting and painting work, paid on top of your hourly rate. This role gives you the chance to take real ownership of the painting and sandblasting side of our yard and make it your personal work environment. Additional staff will jump in and help when needed, but you’ll be the one driving the workflow.

Our painting and sandblasting facilities are fully set up, and we already have a solid pipeline of work booked for the year ahead, meaning consistent, ongoing jobs and strong earning potential as we grow into 2026.

Your Role:

- Running the day-to-day painting and sandblasting area

- Machine washing, prep work, blasting, painting, and detailing

- Managing workflow and maintaining quality standards

- Helping develop systems and improvements in the yard

- Working independently with support staff rotating in when required

What We Offer:

- 10% monthly profit-share bonus (paid on top of wages)

- Strong hourly rate based on experience

- Full-time role in Bullsbrook

- A personal workspace where you can run things your way. (Workshop and office)

- Training across blasting, painting, prep and detailing

- Regional work sign-off available (visa purposes)
