We're thrilled to welcome Dylan to the VASTRAK team as our new Area Manager.

With more than 10 years of hands-on experience in conveyor systems, Dylan better known as "Fridge" has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance, shutdown ex*****on, conveyor upgrades, and problem-solving across the mining industry. His practical knowledge, commitment to safety, and customer-first approach make him a fantastic addition to our growing team.

As VASTRAK continues to expand across Australia, bringing experienced industry professionals like Fridge on board strengthens our ability to provide industry-leading conveyor solutions, technical expertise, and responsive support to our customers.

As we wrap up our final shutdown of FY26, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year.

A huge thank you to our amazing team for your continued dedication, hard work, and commitment to delivering quality outcomes safely. Your professionalism and work ethic are what make Vastrak what it is today.

To our clients, thank you for your trust and ongoing support throughout the year. We genuinely appreciate the opportunity to work alongside you and keep your operations running safely and reliably.

To our suppliers and industry partners, thank you for your continued support and collaboration. Strong partnerships are key to the results we deliver every day.

We're kicking off FY27 with strong momentum. July is shaping up to be one of our busiest months yet, with crews working every day across Perth Metro, the South West, the Goldfields, and the Pilbara. A strong start to the new financial year and a clear reflection of the confidence our clients continue to place in our team.

We're also excited to welcome several new specialists and Area Managers over the coming weeks. Their experience and capability will further strengthen our team as we continue to grow and lift the standard of service we provide across WA.

FY26 has been a year of growth, strong partnerships, and consistent delivery. We're proud of what we've achieved together and even more excited for what lies ahead.

Big milestone for the VASTRAK team as we move into a larger facility to support the rapid growth of the business and lay the foundation for the next 5 years and beyond. 👊🏻

This new space gives us the capacity to continue building a stronger operation, improve support for our clients, and invest further into training and innovation within the conveyor industry.

This week, the new signage went up, with a fresh coat of paint coming soon to complete the frontage. Inside, things are moving quickly, with a dedicated training room taking shape and our hands-on training conveyor arriving soon.

One of the things we’re most excited about is launching free training sessions for our valued clients, focused on practical conveyor maintenance, belt hygiene, component optimisation, and improving on-site reliability.

We’ve also built a large boardroom and meeting space capable of comfortably hosting groups of 10–20 people for training sessions, workshops, planning meetings, and collaboration.

Huge thanks to everyone who has supported the journey so far. Exciting times ahead for VASTRAK, and we’re only getting started. 🚀

Belt cleaners don’t get much attention… until the conveyor starts wearing itself out.

Carry-back builds up.

Dust goes everywhere.

Clean-up becomes a full-time job.

Downtime increases and component wear skyrockets.

The truth is, belt cleaning is one of the biggest hidden opportunities on site to improve reliability and cut operating costs.

But here’s the key: a belt cleaner is only as good as the system it’s installed into.

We often see belt cleaners blamed when the real issue is actually poor transfer design, limited access, unstable belt tracking, or no clearance for the cleaner to do its job properly.

A belt cleaning system that performs long-term should include:

• Primary cleaner on the head pulley (and trippers where required)

• Secondary/tertiary cleaners positioned correctly at pulley exit

• Spray bars where applicable (regulated + filtered water)

• Belt stability through correct return geometry and hold-down rollers

• Correct chute angles and clearance for material discharge

And even the best setup still needs one thing: online maintenance.

Daily wash-downs, tension checks, and blade inspections are what separates a belt cleaner that performs from one that slowly loses effectiveness over time.

The payoff is simple: less carry-back, less dust, less clean-up, less wear, more production time, and safer work areas.

A team of four VASTRAK specialists recently completed impact bed upgrades across two conveyor systems after ongoing issues with repeatedly breaking impact idler frames in high-impact zones.

To resolve this, we installed the Kinder Australia Pty Ltd DYNAMAX Impact Belt Support System – Torsion Spring Element (D10 Series, 1600BW x 1500L).

Designed for extreme transfer point conditions, this system improves material containment while reducing belt damage and structural failures caused by heavy lumps, sharp material, and long drop heights.

Key features include energy-absorbing mounts in the impact zone, low-friction 30mm UHMWPE slider rails, fixed wings for improved skirting seal, and a modular drop-in design engineered to match existing idler height and profile.

Another strong month for VASTRAK as we continue to build real momentum.

February was packed with routine shutdowns across our valued client sites, along with an exciting milestone, successfully completing our first shutdown for a new client. We also spent significant time on site throughout the Pilbara supporting our iron ore customers.

March is shaping up to be one of our busiest months yet, with our largest workforce numbers onsite delivering major upgrades, including significant belt cleaner installations and extremely heavy-duty dynamic impact beds.

To support this growth, we’ve invested in new service Utes and upgraded tooling, ensuring our teams have everything they need to work efficiently and safely across all sites.

We’re also preparing to move into a larger warehouse facility to support our five-year growth plan for stock holdings. This new space will include a dedicated training area where we can educate clients on the importance of belt hygiene and safely walking the conveyor line, showcasing best-practice setups in a controlled environment.

The growth over the past 12 months has been incredible, and it wouldn’t be possible without our valued clients, trusted partners, and most importantly, our people. Thank you all for being part of the journey.

🚧 2026 in Full Swing at VASTRAK 🚧

The year is well underway, with three shutdowns successfully executed across the Perth Metro, Goldfields, and Pilbara, all completed 100% incident-free, on schedule, and with additional scope delivered as standard.

With three more shutdowns still to come this month, it’s shaping up to be a big month and an even bigger year as we continue building on the momentum carried through 2025.
