On Friday, 7 November, we had the privilege of celebrating a milestone that means so much to all of us — 20 years of Firesafe. And what a night it was.
Surrounded by employees (including those who flew in from over east), clients, suppliers, friends, and family, we shared an evening of reflection, recognition, and plenty of laughs. Our awards presentation brought some well-deserved spotlight to our people, and our special “This Is Your Life” segment honouring Jason Morrone reminded us of how far this company has come — and the passion that built it.
During the night, Jason delivered a powerful speech that captured what these two decades truly represent. He reminded us that fire protection is more than an industry — it’s a responsibility.
Two decades of:
• 416 employees
• 959 million dollars in revenue
• 37 families who began new chapters in Australia
• Countless projects that have shaped Perth and Melbourne
But more importantly, two decades of people showing up — early mornings, late nights, weekends, problem-solving, supporting one another, and bringing the Firesafe spirit to everything they do.
Jason shared words that resonated deeply:
“Design like lives depend on it — because they do. Install like your own family will walk under those sprinklers — because someone’s will. Stand by the job after handover — because that’s where trust is earned.” He honoured the members of our 50% Club, welcomed our newest team members, acknowledged the courage of those who moved countries to join us, and paid heartfelt tribute to the families behind the scenes who make it all possible.
Jason closed with Theodore Roosevelt’s famous “Man in the Arena” — a reminder that courage, effort, and conviction are what truly define us.
“To those who stayed in the stands over our journey – thank you for the commentary.
To those who doubted we’d last — thank you for the fuel.
To those who’ve backed us — thank you for the trust.
To all the families who support our people – thank you for the strength.
To all those who step into the arena and stand alongside me – thank you for the courage.
After 20 years, we’re still here. We’re still standing tall.
And the next twenty years start now.”
Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Here’s to what’s ahead.
