It was a bloody great day on the range today up at Chidlow, with lots of members recording some incredible scores.
I just missed out on a perfect score on the 2nd detail. Mind you there were 6 of us missing out by .1
500yds, 147grELD-M, Lapua brass, 2209 powder, 6.5CM Bergara, Accutac bipod, Arken scope...what a great combo.

We had a very productive night last night. Lots of unwanted animals removed but we didnt come across any pigs.
Until on the drive home when we passed 2 on the side of the highway.

Removing the pests one night at a time.5 came out, 5 went to sleep.Good result.

The idiocy we are up against.

A 'cheap' thermal scope/spotter has a low quality/low resolution thermal sensor.
It some situationd it can be difficult to clearly identify a number of animals, especially at distance.

An 'expensive' scope/spotter has a very high resolution sensor, giving a far superior, clear, image even at a long distance.

So it is easier to identify animal types with the higher priced scopes.

The heat signature given by an echidna vs a small pig are very different, and even with a sh*tty scope/spotter is impossible to get wrong.

Maybe her 'friend' is old and has really bad eyesight, bordering blind, so probably shouldn't be behind a rifle in the first place.

She really has no argument, and is just talking bu****it.
