Speaking to so many African immigrant parents in the diaspora through our business has made me realise something. 🌍❤️

So many people are stuck in the cycle of earning a salary and simply getting by. 💰➡️💸

And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a job. 🙌🏽 But for many parents, a salary alone isn’t enough to create the freedom they truly desire.

We want more than just surviving from payday to payday. 😩💭
We want more time with our children 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️, more choices, more flexibility, and the ability to build something of our own. 🌱🏡✨

Don’t be afraid to try something new. 🚀
Be more afraid of staying in the same position for the next 5, 10 or 15 years because fear stopped you from trying. ⏳

That’s why, 5 years ago, I started this business. 💻✨

I was afraid. 😬
I had doubts.
I didn’t have everything figured out.

But I started anyway. 🔥💪🏽

A little throwback ❤️

Looking at this photo reminds me of how much can change over time.

We didn’t have everything figured out back then. We were simply doing our best, dreaming, working and building our lives one step at a time.

Today, we’re still building. Still learning. Still growing. Still dreaming bigger.

One thing I’ve learned is that you don’t have to have it all figured out before you start. Sometimes, you just have to take the first step and trust the process.
