Teen First Resumes – Because Some Kids Need Someone in Their Corner
As a mum of a teenager with ADHD and ODD, I know what it’s like to constantly advocate.
To sit in meetings.
To defend.
To explain.
To fight for people to see the good.
I’m also raising a non-verbal ASD warrior.
So when I say I understand barriers — I mean it.
Some teens don’t “fit the mould.”
They struggle in traditional classrooms.
They get labelled before they get understood.
They don’t interview like the polished private school kid.
But here’s what I know:
They are resilient.
They are creative.
They are loyal.
They are capable.
And sometimes all they need is one employer to look past the surface.
That’s where I come in.
A Teen First Resume isn’t just a document.
It’s positioning.
It’s strategy.
It’s highlighting strengths instead of deficits.
It’s translating “difficult” into determined.
It’s turning “too much” into motivated.
If your teenager faces barriers — learning differences, anxiety, behavioural labels, confidence issues — I see them. And I will advocate for them on paper.
Because every teen deserves a shot.
If you’re a parent sitting in your car after another school call… I see you too.
Let’s get your kid through the door.
DM “TEEN” to get started.
