🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Sam 🌟

This week we are shining a light on Sam, who has been part of the Airocle team for six years, with four of those spent completing his apprenticeship.

Sam first joined us in 2019 as a labour hire with no qualifications, just a strong work ethic and a willingness to give something new a go. Fast forward to today and he is a key part of our production line, operating the CNC Press Brake daily to fold and form components across our entire product range.

When we asked Sam what he finds most interesting about his role, his answer was simple: the challenge.
He loves when a complex component comes through and he gets to figure it out.

But ask him what he loves most about Airocle and the answer is even simpler: the team.
Sam says the people around him genuinely make the biggest difference. The ones who taught him throughout his apprenticeship, the ones he works with today, and the ones who always manage to put a smile on his face.

Across his six years, Sam has seen the workshop evolve with ongoing improvements in lean manufacturing and 5S. He describes the journey as a positive experience that has shaped his time here.

When it comes to proud moments, two stand out:

🏆 Being awarded Employee of the Year in 2023

Project wise, Parramatta Light Rail sits at the top of his list thanks to many hours assembling louvre blades and a few sore fingers to prove it.

In Sam’s words:
