This Saturday we’re pressing a record for DINGO that is only starting to be created today.

4 days to create, record, produce, mix and master.

24 hours to cut the lacquers, make the stampers and press the records and deliver to the festival.

An experimental music process, fraught with challenges that we’re excited to be a part of.

We’ll be keeping you updated on the entire pressing process, so stay tuned to see all the highs and lows!

A really special project we were lucky enough to press.

Stu Larsen came into the factory to check out his pressing a little while back, and we couldn’t help ourselves from asking questions.

Enjoy this little bit of a backstory from Stu, on his year long 12 location album, “solitude”.

Neil recently undertook a study tour for his Churchill Fellowship across five countries, fifteen pressing plants, equipment manufacturer’s and compound makers.

The main question driving the trip was how do we make vinyl better for the planet without making it worse for the music?

Turns out there’s no silver bullet, but there’s a lot we can do, and we’re already putting it into practice on the factory floor.

Neil has shared the report within the industry, and we’re excited to be a part of encouraging a more sustainable approach to vinyl record manufacturing.
