The Stretton Centre recently partnered with The Polaris Centre to host a Women In Business Dinner at local winery Esilio Wines. It was great to see over 30 women from all types of businesses attend and connect whilst enjoying the beautiful selection of wines and food on offer by Esilio. Guest speakers, Rachel Kammerman from the City of Playford and Melina Lipkewicz from PeopleQ, we thank them for their presentations on the night and hope all that attended had a great night.

It was a slightly different feel to our quarterly Northern NDIS Provider Networking event held recently at the Stretton Centre with a new morning timeslot providing an opportunity for those who can't normally attend during the evening to come along and network.

Pleasingly it was another strong turnout with many new faces attending and enjoying a lovely morning tea.
Our guest speakers for the event were Andrew Hambling from Australian Super, Bonny Shaw-Newland from SANA Living and Mahdi Parsa from Solana Support Services - we thank them for their contribution to the event.

The next Northern NDIS Provider Networking Event is in August on Thursday 27 August and will be in our evening timeslot of 5pm to 7:30pm. Tickets are just $5 and include nibbles and light refreshments plus some informative and inspiring guest speakers.

The City of Playford and Uni Hub Playford had the privilege of hosting Year 12 students through The Smith Family Work Inspiration Program this week.

The students started the day at Uni Hub Playford, hearing from the team about their career journeys from the highs, the lows, to the detours, and any lessons learnt along the way. The next stop on the tour was the Stretton Centre where the students connected with the Business and Industry Growth and Business Development teams to hear about their career experiences before sitting down for a well-earned lunch.

The Smith Family do incredible work providing young Australians with experiences such as this program and we thank them for connecting with our teams.
