Our neighbours were very happy with us this afternoon!
In a regenerative farming system, nothing goes to waste. This is why we collect our marc (a combination of the grape skin, seeds and stems that helped create delicious wines) and feed it to the neighbourhood cows.
It's a massive win for both the planet and the herd, as we divert tons of agricultural byproduct away from landfill and turn it into a nutrient-rich snack for our four legged friends. Grape marc is packed with healthy fats and fiber that help bridge the seasonal feed gap when pasture grass slows down.
