The Halliday W**e Companion results are always a marker we look forward to. A clear reflection of the quality we're producing, and the work the Poole's Rock team puts into every vintage.

This year, with two w**es scoring 97 points and two scoring 96, it's a proud moment for the whole team, a reflection of the quality in the bottle and the work behind it.

We are very pleased to announce that Poole's Rock has been recognised in the 2027 Halliday W**e Companion with a Five Red Star rating, confirming our standing amongst the very best w**eries from across Australia.

This wonderful acknowledgement comes off the back of an extraordinary brace of ratings which has seen two of our w**es score 97 and another two w**es scoring 96.

The two 97’s – the 2012 Poole's Rock Semillon and the 2024 Single Barrel Chardonnay – are very different w**es in almost every aspect, except for their inherent quality. These scores are therefore a direct reflection of our ongoing commitment to excellence in our viticulture and w**emaking, and it is enormously pleasing to see that consistency of quality recognised.

Discover the exceptional legacy of Pooles Rock, crafting outstanding w**es in the Hunter Valley since 1988.

Our Semillon develops its uniquely exquisite character over decades in bottle, while our Shiraz gains sophistication with age. Unmatched in quality, our Chardonnay flourishes in the Hunter’s unique terroir, cultivated in vineyards that have been the pride of local w**emaking for generations.
