Looking for a relaxed lunch or dinner? Head to Barney’s Bar & Bistro for hearty pub favourites, regional wines and a great selection from the bar, all in a welcoming country atmosphere.

Barney’s is building on its much-loved local reputation with a focus on good food, good drinks and friendly country hospitality.

Bookings are recommended, particularly for dinner and busy weekends. Winter opening hours can vary, so check their socials before heading over.

Just next door to Barney’s, you’ll find Black & Ginger Wine Shed — a cosy cellar door where you can settle into the lounge, enjoy a wine tasting and explore their range of premium, small-batch wines.

Take your time with a glass of wine, browse the range, challenge someone to a board game or simply settle in and enjoy the afternoon.

Feeling hungry? During their Friday–Sunday lunch service, you can even order from Barney’s and have your meal brought over to the Wine Shed.

🥂 WINE OF THE WEEK | 2021 SPARKLING RIESLING

Sometimes a Friday Night is a good enough reason to celebrate!

This week we’re pouring our 2021 Sparkling ~Riesling, with lovely soft seductive palate. Beautiful lemon curd and delicate wildflowers with a hint of lime.
For those of you who know, here is the Grampians we are passionate about growing incredible Riesling, and we are the only producing in the region with a Sparkling Riesling in their portfolio.

Traditional Method Sparkling:
Fruit harvested specifically for sparkling wine, the fruit was fermented in stainless steel for two weeks before undergoing malolactic fermentation for a softer texture. Secondary fermentation in the bottle adds rich complexity, making this a truly standout release.

We love to pair this one with fresh seafood, baked brie and rich, creamy pasta dishes.

COME WINTER IN THE GRAMPIANS

This time of year is certainly a favourite in the Grampians.

The paddocks are beginning to turn golden as the canola starts to flower, the stunning yellow wattle is in full bloom, and the kookaburras seem to come just a little closer in winter. 💛

It’s a beautiful reminder that spring isn’t too far away.

For now, though, the scenery is simply spectacular — a tapestry of green and gold, with the mountains providing the perfect backdrop.
