Beautiful Kim & Ray were ahead of their time ~ paving the way for a future in which Micro Weddings and Elopements are the new 🖤. Or more importantly, that people have become more empowered to do whatever the heck their hearts desire when it comes to planning their wedding.

Gone are the days of people pleasing and weddings where you look into a crowd of people and think 'who are you even?'.
This is the era of the small, the relaxed, the personal ~ money spent on the things that truly light you up...and ceremonies so intimate that you wake up the morning of your wedding and think, 'I'm getting married today and I am NOT EVEN STRESSED'.

Oh boy am I here for this. Nothing fills my heart more than seeing my couples completely relaxed, at ease and fully present with each other because they have built a wedding day that is exactly what they wanted.

Reviews mean SO MUCH.
They are not only the kindest and most appreciated acknowledgement that (the love, and the god-damn heart bursting joy of a ceremony in which you feel relaxed and comfortable and SO CONNECTED to the person you love and your people) but they help other beautiful humans feel confident in their decisions when trusting suppliers with one heck of an important day in their lives.

I have lost count of how many couples have emailed me and said, 'we read your Google reviews and we think you will be the perfect fit for us!'

The biggest thank you to all you sweethearts out there that take a moment to write some words (since becoming a small business owner I have sure upped the ante on leaving reviews and showing my gratitude to the other businesses out there too 🙏🏼).

Just sharing the day with you all is already the greatest gift, but knowing it was everything you ever hoped for and more is always the sweetest 🍒 on top.

Palm Cove (well right next door), but quiet and private.

It's no secret that Palm Cove is a wedding and Elopement favourite, and with its alley of palms and view of Double Island (and its cute little neighbour fondly known as 'Scout's Hat') 🏝️, it's truly no wonder...but just south of all the beautiful and busy glory of Palm Cove is another little alley of palms at North Clifton and for those who are seeking a more private location this is a wonderful choice.

So lovely to revisit the memories of this glorious afternoon with Paula & Pete...sunshine, laughs, and SO MUCH LOVE...and two beautiful humans signing up for a lifetime of waking up beside their favourite person.

Lucky Dip witnesses, and why they are the greatest ♥️.

Eloping couples often find themselves wondering who will witness their moment to tick that important legal box ✔️.

But they are eloping right...so often that means they didn't want ANYONE sharing that intimate exchange of love, words and intention.

Did you know you can have an intimate ceremony ALL ALONE and invite some unsuspecting (always delighted) strangers to witness the legal components (words and paperwork) after a personal ceremony that belongs just to you?

I started doing this a few years ago after burning through all my witness credits with friends and family 😅...when it dawned on me that a 'legals only' ceremony and an intimate elopement can exist parallel to each other. It means the strangers who are asked to witness your special moment are only giving up about 4 minutes of their time...and it means that all the beautiful reflections in your personal ceremony belong only to you.

Also...look how positively delighted these gorgeous gals are to be surprise witnesses! And how happy beautiful Mel and Lewie were to have them 🥰.

There is always call for reflection when the curtain closes on a year, and a new one begins...

2025, like the year before it made me acutely aware of how fluid it all is. The moments of lightness and profound joy, the deep challenges that call us to rise or go deeper. This wonderful adventure we are all sharing in our human experience.

I blessed to be reminded daily through my work that the connection we experience with each other and with nature are the very essence of it all.
Every year I grow to love this work more.
Every year ceremony takes on a new depth and I learn new things about love, different cultures, connection, and how we honour those things together.

Thank you for allowing me to feel, grow, connect, honour, learn, laugh and celebrate with you.

I love you all dearly and am so excited for the year ahead!

Twilight in the rainforest celebrating Jess & Lee 🍃

Looking over these beautiful images by the has me reflecting on the special sense of stillness a rainforest ceremony always brings. It seems impossible for a couple to feel anything but complete ease and joy.

Lee & Jess chose to run away with their closest family in tow...over the river and into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest

Their sweet children watched mum and dad become husband and wife, perched on a rock beside them, and proudly brought up the rings. We signed the paperwork in a little forest nook by lantern light, and the moment couldn't have been more relaxed or perfect.
