Details:
We have been advised by our Backhaul Carrier to nbn 2CFS (Coffs Harbour), 2GRN (Grafton) that they are conducting Cable Replacement works that may disrupt nbn services off these POIs for up to 8 Hours during the outage window.

After a recent iOS update (16.7.13), Telstra is aware that some customers using older iPhone models (8, X, 11, and possibly up to 12) may be unable to make or receive calls, use mobile data, or send/receive SMS and potentially may be unable to contact emergency services.

FIX:

• Apple has released a carrier settings update to fix this issue
• To install the update, follow these instructions:
o Connect your impacted iPhone to Wi-Fi
o Tap Settings > General > About
o Accept the carrier settings update by tapping “OK”
o Confirm the update installed by going to Settings > General > About and make sure it says “Telstra 54.1” next to Service Provider
• If the Service Provider version does not show “Telstra 54.1” check you’re connected to Wi-Fi and repeat the steps above.

Dear Customers,
Due to the declared state of disaster in Victoria and severe weather conditions affecting parts of Australia, the blocking date for impacted Samsung devices that are not Triple Zero capable has been extended.
New Blocking Date:
• Samsung non-Triple Zero capable devices: Blocking will now commence on 21 January 2026.
• Oppo A53s devices (software update required): Blocking date remains 20 January 2026.
