We're hiring: Part-Time Receptionist, work from home ☎️

Click ACS is a proudly majority Aboriginal-owned aged care provider. We're looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our Client Care team, working from home anywhere in NSW or the ACT. This is a new second position, so you'll never be the only one on the phones.

You'll be the first voice older clients and their families hear when they call us. If you're warm, calm and organised, we can teach you the rest.

✅ $30/hr + super, above award
✅ Permanent part-time, not casual
✅ Flexible hours (about 15–30 a week), tell us what suits you
✅ Monday to Friday, no weekends, no after-hours
✅ Work from home, with full training alongside an experienced team member
** face to face training and work from office until settled into the role

You'll need: full working rights in Australia, a police check (pending is OK), reliable internet, and a private space where you can take client calls without being overheard.

You won't need: reception experience or a qualification. Good with people, good with detail, that's the job.

It's practical work; a clean kitchen, a vacuumed floor, a friendly chat — and it makes a real difference to someone's week.

🏡 What the role involves
- Light domestic cleaning — vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchens and bathrooms
- General household upkeep
- Checking in on how your client is going, and flagging anything that concerns you

🔥 Welcome to winter.

There’s something special about the first cold snap. The excuse to light the fire, wrap up in something warm, and slow down just a little.

As we head into the cooler months, we wanted to take a moment to check in on the people who matter most to us. Our elderly community members can be more vulnerable during winter than we sometimes realise.

A few gentle reminders to keep your loved ones safe and well this season:

🧥 Layer up. Keeping warm reduces the risk of illness and keeps energy levels up.

🍲 Warm, nutritious meals make a real difference. Soups, stews, and hot drinks aren’t just comforting, they’re genuinely good for you.

💊 Stay on top of medications and GP appointments. Cold weather can sometimes affect how we feel, so it’s a good time to check in with your GP if anything seems off.

🚪 Check in on neighbours and family who live alone. A knock on the door or a phone call can mean everything.

☀️ Get some daylight when you can. Even a short time outside on a sunny winter’s day does wonders for your mood and energy.

What’s your fondest memory of your grandparents?🌸

This weekend, I’m visiting my grandparents in Central West NSW.
It got me thinking about one of my most vivid memories: Walking through the door and finding fresh scones, hot on the table, almost every single time. ☕️

That smell. That warmth. That feeling of being completely looked after.
