So I did a thing, I quit my job. For those that know me closely, know that I’ve been talking about this for a long time (thanks for your patience). This isn’t about my employer, the good, bad or other, all jobs have that, it was all about me being ready to back myself and go out on my own. Here’s the thing, you (or me specifically) will get advice, read articles and posts on how others do it, the right way, the wrong way. Anywho, I did it, my way, time will tell which way I did it!

I was in government originally for only a couple of years that turned into 8 and a half years. I went from being a driver tester, and meeting Tana (worth it 😘), into projects managing change and building program of works, to moving thousands of staff into and around buildings. I had a super supportive manager who then gave me a choice of my next role, I chose team engagement and behavioral strength training, and was able to work over a compressed week, 5 days over 4. I’ve been fortunate, I’ve been supported, I’m grateful, and for lots of people this job sounds ideal, but now I am looking to my next chapter.
