A new partnership between the Scout Recycling Centre and national Container Deposit Scheme leader Return-It Australia Return-It will support the future of our recycling centres in SA, which are owned and operated by Scouts SA.
Return-It operates more than 370 Container Deposit Scheme sites across Australia, using advanced technology to make recycling easier for everyone.
Our SA recycling Depots will now be co-owned by Scouts SA and Return-It. Everything will remain business as usual, with the same staff ready to assist at the same locations.
With our 49 years of experience and Return-It’s national expertise, this partnership ensures a strong future for our recycling services.
Our work will also continue helping to fund scouting activities across the state.
Our Queensland recycling depot will transition to Return-It ownership. We sincerely thank all the hardworking employees at the Slacks Creek site for their commitment and contribution and we wish them every success in this new opportunity.
