We can’t keep talking about building our dreams without talking about our relationship with money.

Because money is about SO much more than money. It’s about agency. Choice. Freedom. And what becomes possible for our one precious life.

THE MONEY ROOM has been brewing within me for a few solid weeks now. And it’s become one of those things I simply cannot NOT do. I don’t know exactly what it will become, but I know I have to open the door and find out.

And I’m not creating this because I’ve mastered money or have it all figured out. Far from it. I’m creating it because I know how much this matters. For me. For women. For the dreams we’re here to bring to life.

It’s not a six-week program. It’s not a promise to get rich. And it’s definitely not another bloody thing to keep up with.

It’s a weekly PRACTICE. A place for women to get more intimate with money, change our relationship with it and become more powerful with it. Together.

The doors open when we get back from Tassie. 💚

And I cannot wait to see what unfolds for us all.

I don’t want to do business and creativity the way the world tells me I have to.

I don’t want to be obedient to systems, formulas or rules that don’t feel right for me.

I want to follow my heart. Trust myself. Create my own way. Always have. And of course help others have the courage to do the same.

The card I pulled in this TikTok earlier in the week said, “Open one door with courage and another door opens.”

HELLS YES TO ROLLING AND CREATING THAT IN THIS ONE PRECIOUS LIFE ❤️

And I’ve been quiet on here this week because I’ve been busy living my one precious life with my kiddos. Which is kind of the whole point x CB

I’ve been thinking about this SO much lately. How momentum isn’t necessarily built in the giant leap, the perfectly executed plan, or the week where you finally have your s**t together. It’s built in the tiny moments. The tiny but mighty brave actions. The micro decisions to stay in the game instead of checking out.

Especially in this ever-changing, ever-evolving landscape of business and creativity and making things that didn’t exist before you decided they should.

There is something incredibly powerful about having already made the decision: I’m committed to the dream. And then continuing to tend to it.

Sometimes the act of courage is embarrassingly tiny. And sometimes the act itself actually feels embarrassing. Because you’re creating something new. Trying something you haven’t tried before.

Being seen before you know if it’s going to work. Putting yourself, to some degree, at the mercy of other people’s judgement, opinions and expectations.

But I think that’s also part of the good life of being a creative. Following the pull. Making the thing. Pursuing the heart desire. Being willing to look a little ridiculous along the way.

And lately, as a mum with two teenagers who have big dreams of their own, I’m realising there really isn’t another option. I want to hold space for their dreams and keep tending to mine. So it has to happen in the spaces between.

Right now I’m on the Sunshine Coast for my daughter’s dance competition. This morning I’ve been in the ocean, laid in the sun, had breakfast with my daughter. I’m here. Fully here. And somehow, amongst all of that, I’ve continued taking tiny acts of courage towards my own dreams.

And they stack.

Because I think we can spend years telling ourselves, when I get home, when things settle down, when I’m more organised, when I have more time, when my kids don’t need me as much, when I feel more confident… then I’ll do it.

Except life doesn’t really work like that.

The dream gets built here. In the life you actually have. One tiny act of courage at a time xx CB

What if the path everyone celebrates isn’t actually the path for you?

Oooof. THIS conversation.

Suji Sanjeevan LIGHT + GLO Australia | Luxury Fragrances had done everything she was “supposed” to do.

The sensible choices.
The respected career.
The path that made sense on paper and made her family proud.

And then she made the decision to leave the path she knew and start creating one of her own.

And THIS is the part I love.

She didn’t magically have herself figured out first.

She built businesses. Raised three boys. Made mistakes. Lost money. Started again. Walked onto stages terrified. Had businesses hit hard by COVID. Completely blanked in the middle of her Shark Tank pitch on national television.

And somewhere in all of that...
she found more of herself.

This conversation is SO Dream Makers because it isn’t the polished “follow your dreams and everything works out” story.

It’s about what building the dream actually asks of us.

Finding your voice.
Backing yourself.
Being seen.
Failing.
Learning.
Money.
Motherhood.
Self-respect.
Freedom.
And becoming someone new along the way.

Maybe finding yourself isn’t something that happens before you build the dream.

Maybe you find yourself because you were brave enough to leave the path that wasn’t yours, and start moving towards the one that was.

🎧 Episode 168 The Dream Makers Podcast
Leave the Expected Path. Find Yourself. Build the Dream (Ft, Suji Sanjeevan).

Out now wherever you listen.

PS. Suji’s reframe for FAIL = First Attempt In Learning. I bloody love that.

Bec Sands | Author | Visibility Mentor | PR Consultant wrote a bloody BOOK!!! 🥹❤️

What You Came Here to Create landed in the world this week, which makes this week’s The Dream Makers Podcast conversation feel even more special.

Because there IS something you came here to create.

Maybe it’s a book. A business. An idea. A body of work. A message. A completely different life.

But here’s the bit Bec and I went right into:

At some point, you actually need to be seen.
You can’t wait on the sidelines until you magically feel confident enough.

Confidence comes after action.

You create evidence that you can handle being seen by being seen. You learn you can survive the rejection. You take the next step before you know exactly where it leads. You problem-solve when s**t doesn’t work. You keep creating. You stay in the game.

And somewhere along the way, visibility stops being about “look at me” and starts becoming about letting people experience what you came here to create.

This conversation is SO bloody good.

And Bec, watching you hold that book up on our call knowing how much courage, creation, visibility and LIFE sits behind it was pretty f*cking special.

Huge congratulations, my friend. You made the thing. ❤️

🎧 DREAM MAKERS Ep 167: You Actually Need to Be Seen (ft. Bec Sands) is out now.

And 📕 What You Came Here to Create is officially out in the world.

Go listen. Go grab Bec’s book.

And maybe ask yourself:

What have I come here to create… and am I willing to let it be seen? Xx CB 💋🫶🏼💖💞❤️‍🔥

Why am I ALWAYS so red after recording a podcast?! 😂🔥

Anyway… just got off the pod with Suji Sanjeevan LIGHT + GLO Australia | Luxury Fragrances and WHAT A WOMAN.

Creator. Mother. Entrepreneur. Absolute powerhouse.

We talked about building businesses, raising kids, backing yourself, changing direction, making mistakes and what it actually looks like to create a life that feels like YOURS.
Not the polished version. The real version. The pivots, the wobbles, the things that don’t work, the things you learn and the courage to keep moving anyway.

And her take on failure? In 167 episodes (so far) of The Dream Makers Podcast I have genuinely never heard it framed this way before.

This conversation is such a beautiful reminder that you do not need to have it all figured out. You need to be willing to move, learn, evolve and keep creating.

So much gold in this one. Cannot wait to share it soon x 🎙️❤️

Your heart is literally CALLING YOU into your greatest expansion and evolution. When oh when will you listen and take ACTION?

These are just some of the cards and pages from my book that got pulled in 1:1 mentoring sessions today, and apparently there was a theme. 😂

There is a version of your life that becomes available when you stop ignoring what you know, stop slamming the handbrake on your own vision and actually move towards the thing that keeps calling you.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. Listen. Trust yourself. Take the next right action.

And the timing feels pretty perfect because the room is FULL for Catalyst Day this Friday. Helena Lee and I created this day for exactly this kind of shift. To get out of your head and fear, into your body, open your heart, see the bigger vision, work with what arises and choose what happens next.

And there is ONE final spot left in the room.

If your heart just went *oh*, message me CATALYST. ❤️
