This is how you transform a work ute into a tourer.
The metal fab work is done at the back half of the new workshop (canopy frame and boat rack) whilst the sewing work is done at the front. So awesome to be able to do it all in the one shop.
Just a note, canvas shrinks because of the cotton content, that's why the new canvas looks loose and wrinkled.

Modern tonneau covers use plastic stips for a clean look instead of bungy cord and eyelets, but the plastic strips don't allow you to still use the cover with any load that is higher than the sides like the older style does. For this one we still used brass eyelets and bungy cord but they are all hidden, clean look, but retains the functionality.
