The revised Tweed Development Control Plan (DCP) will officially come into effect on 1 June 2026 following Council’s endorsement on 19 March 2026.

These changes may impact:
• Setbacks & site coverage
• Flood planning requirements
• Landscaping & deep soil zones
• Access & parking compliance
• Residential design controls
• Future DA and CDC applications

If you are planning to build, renovate, subdivide or lodge a Development Application in the Tweed Shire, now is the time to understand how the revised controls may affect your project.
