This is what 28 wire ropes on a defence industry RAS tower looks like when they come in for inspection and re-lubrication.

After years of service there's contaminated grease packed into the strands, and without pulling them, cleaning them down, and physically inspecting every metre β€” you simply don't know what you've got.

One of the 26mm RHOL ropes told us exactly why this work matters. A single 10m section with 7 separate areas of crushing. That's not something you find on a visual check from the ground.

Every rope went through the Viper β€” old grease stripped out, fresh lubricant driven deep into the core under pressure, reaching places manual greasing never gets to. What used to take days gets done in hours. Less lubricant used, less waste and it can extend the working life of the rope by up to 300% compared to manual lubrication β€” which on assets like these, is huge money.

If you're running wire ropes in demanding applications and they're on a manual l**e schedule β€” or no schedule at all β€” it's worth a conversation. We can bring the Viper to you.

Wire rope doesn't announce when it's in trouble. That's the job.

Disorganised rigging storage isn't just an eyesore. It's how out-of-service gear ends up back in the field, how inspection cycles get missed, and why your next inspection costs more β€” because we're sorting through the chaos instead of actually inspecting anything.

Getting on top of it isn't that hard. Clean out the container, get some hanging rails in, put a quarantine process in place. It makes a big difference.

And if you need a hand, reach our to our team β€” whether it's helping you reorganise what you've got, hiring you a Ranger Rigging Box, or building something custom for your site.

It's go time!

Our MD Ashley Thacker and GM Tim Van D**e have touched down in Houston for the AWRF Spring PIE & Technical Summit, kicking off today through to the 23rd.

Four days of technical sessions, industry updates, and connecting with the people shaping where this industry is headed. Couldn't think of a better use of a week.

Going to be there? Drop them a message and lock in a catch-up.

WLL. You see it on every sling, shackle and hook on site. But does your team actually know what it means in practice?

Working Load Limit (WLL) is the maximum load the equipment is designed to handle under normal conditions β€” but it changes based on how you rig.

Training your guys to read the tag is step one. Understanding what the number actually means is step two. Both matter.

We just finished fitting out this custom Man Box with 3 x Rigid 130 Lattsafe Rail systems β€” and it's heading straight to a BHP mine site in Adelaide. πŸ’ͺ

These Lattsafe Rigid Rails are specifically designed for exactly this kind of application β€” providing continuous overhead fall arrest inside mining cages, so workers are protected every step of the way.
