We have been retained to find trainers for one of our clients who is a Registered Training Organisation in the VET sector. The college is located in Canberra. Our client is willing to pay for the training qualification (TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment), for the right candidate.


About the role:

Contractor arrangement and full time
Blended learning- face to face and online learning
Professional development training provided by the college


Skills and experience:

Have recent experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications in Aged Care, Individual Support and Community Services
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Current Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
Current National Police Check (or be willing to obtain)

Our client provides a flexible, safe and reliable service to organisations and individuals in NSW and QLD. They offer Nationally Recognised Training in Forklift Licencing and Fatigue Risk Management Systems and are seeking an experienced Trainers & Assessors to complement our current team.

You will be required to deliver accredited short courses and verification of competencies in the following units:
• TLIF0006 – Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System
• TLIF0005 – Apply a Fatigue Risk Management System
• TLILIC0003 – Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
• TLILIC0004 – Licence to Operate an Order Picking Forklift Truck

Key Selection Criteria:
• Hold a Cert IV or Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE 40116)
• Demonstrated experience in the handling of workplace-based training programs

• Travelling to various locations is a requirement of this position
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Strong level of interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and organisational skills
• Demonstrated awareness of understanding the issues encountered by disadvantaged learners
• Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
