I will guide you through preparation of a highly personalised ceremony, or you may wish me to tailor a ceremony for you. Feel free to add any personal requirements to make the occasion especially significant for you. Poetry, music and readings can be incorporated into your celebration. I am committed to designing a celebration that reflects your desires, dreams and wishes and will last as a treasured memory. Place
You are free to choose anywhere in Australia for your ceremony. Ceremonies performed outside the ACT/Queanbeyan area may include necessary travel costs. Timing
I am very flexible with timing, and will be available whenever required. I will be in place and set up for your ceremony no later than thirty minutes before the scheduled start time. About Brendon
I have a deep appreciation for ceremony, gained initially through Church involvement as a young adult, assisting in hundreds of marriages, baptisms, funerals and general services. Later I served in the Royal Australian Air Force working in administration and protocol. I have also worked in the not-for-profit sector in management and administration and I am a member of the Australian Institute of Management. I am also a horticulturalist and garden designer having formal qualifications in all these fields. In 2008 I was appointed a Justice of the Peace in and for the State of New South Wales. I am also the doting grandfather to a granddaughter and a grandson. I acknowledge the benefit of strong lasting relationships and I delight in my role of formally uniting couples in the lasting bond of marriage. I very much enjoy working with people to ensure that their ceremony is a wonderfully successful occasion.
