Awesome weekend in Adelaide thanks to Gates and MiMotion Australia. Penrite corporate suit, pit tour and a pre race walk on the grid. Unfortunately Grove racing only placing 6th and 11th but a top effort from the team in such hot weather.

Local customer drove his tractor and baler to our workshop for a couple of hoses. The 12klm trip on a rough gravel road wasn't enough to ruffle the feathers of this devoted mumma!

An email last week confirming this in a recent competition we top scored on projected sales targets in our category set by MiMotion Australia. And we're bound for South Australia!

Quite often its the simplest things that cause a failure! This pressure line was allowed to rub against an 1¹/⁴ suction line without adequate protection and became a race as to which would fail first.

Not a common practice nowadays but this hose had its anti burst sleeve pushed under the ferrule before crimping to keep it in place resulting in a misshapen crimp. The customer had been chasing this leak for quite some time until it was spotted weeping between the ferrule and the fitting due to the poor fitment.

Project from last week, extension of this mixer for Wagstaff Piling. They have an extended unit like this on the wharf in Melbourne which was in quarantine for another 6 weeks so the crew at DKMA Engineering Services put in some big hours at short notice to remove the centre section and fabricated a 4.5m extension in time for a test at the Macquarie Point development site. This attachment injects and mixes air and grout into the existing soil structure to create a firmer/stronger base to build upon.
